Christmas Eve: Midnight Mass
December 24 @ 10:30 pm - 11:59 pm
The tradition of Midnight Mass is returning to St Stephen’s.
Our Christmas Eve service will begin at 10:30 pm with a Carol Sing. Come early, shout out your favorite carol, and join in joyful singing. Our candlelit Eucharist will begin at 11pm with traditional music lead by our choir. The service will conclude at midnight with bells ringing as we proclaim Joy to the World, the Lord is Come. Bring your jingle bells and ring out the Good News of Christ to all the world.
Children of all ages are welcome. The littlest among us are invited to bring a favorite lovey and come in pjs. There will be space in the chapel for them to spread out on their blanket if they are sleepy and need more space. Their little noises are precious and a reminder that our Lord and Savoir, Jesus Christ, entered this world as a baby. All are welcome.
Whoever you are, wherever you find yourself on life’s journey, and whatever questions dwell in your heart, you are welcome here. Whatever your race, class, sexuality, beliefs, or talents, we hope that you join us in the radical hospitality of God’s table.
