Service of Remembrance
December 3 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The holiday season reminds many people of what they have lost or nearly lost. The anguish of broken relationships, the insecurity of unemployment, the weariness of ill health, the pain of isolation, the loss of a close family member, friend, or family pet can contribute to a feeling of being alone, of “feeling blue” in the midst of the society around us which seems bent on “being happy” and “celebrating.”
A special church service, sponsored by the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 31 Main Street, East Haddam will be held on Sunday, December 3 at 5:00 pm.
The service will be a time for people to acknowledge their common sadness and loss. Clergy and parishioners from St. Stephen’s will lead the service. The public is invited.
