DESCRIPTION:The holiday season reminds many people of what they have los
 t or nearly lost. The anguish of broken relationships\, the insecurity o
 f unemployment\, the weariness of ill health\, the pain of isolation\, t
 he loss of a close family member\, friend\, or family pet can contribute
  to a feeling of being alone\, of “feeling blue” in the midst of the
  society around us which seems bent on “being happy” and “celebrat
 ing.”\n\nA special church service\, sponsored by the St. Stephen's Epi
 scopal Church\, 31 Main Street\, East Haddam will be held on Friday\, De
 cember 2\, 6:00 pm.  The service will be a time for people to acknowled
 ge their common sadness and loss. Clergy and parishioners from St. Steph
 en's will lead the service. Following the service\, refreshments will be
