 g its 12th Fall Serendipity Auction.\nThe St. Stephen’s Serendipity Au
 ction is back and set for Saturday\, November 12!\nThe silent auction op
 ens the action at 6:30pm\, and the live auction begins at 8:00. This yea
 r we’ll be putting a ton of great items and experiences up for bid\, i
 ncluding restaurant passes\, handcrafted artisan items\, theme baskets g
 alore – and much\, much more!\n\nWe are also featuring a local artist 
 corner!\n\nComplimentary hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments will be
  served\, and there’s no charge to come (though donations are encourag
 ed and appreciated)! Bring your friends and neighbors for a great time f
 or worthy causes.\n\n\nThis year sA portion of the proceeds will be used
  to support the Haddam area Refugee Resettlement Project (HaRRP). HaRRP 
 is a ministry started by The Higganum Congregational Church and The Firs
 t Congregational Church of Haddam in partnership with Integrated Refugee
  &amp\; Immigrant Services (IRIS) of New Haven and local faith organizat
 ions\, including St Stephen’s\, to welcome and support a refugee famil
 y. The need is great. There are over 35 million refugees in the world to
 day. This is a 25% increase in just a few months.  IRIS has already res
 ettled almost twice as many people this year as they usually resettle in
