St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church of East Haddam is announcing its 12th Fall Serendipity Auction.

The St. Stephen’s Serendipity Auction is back and set for Saturday, November 12!
The silent auction opens the action at 6:30pm, and the live auction begins at 8:00. This year we’ll be putting a ton of great items and experiences up for bid, including restaurant passes, handcrafted artisan items, theme baskets galore – and much, much more!
We are also featuring a local artist corner!
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments will be served, and there’s no charge to come (though donations are encouraged and appreciated)! Bring your friends and neighbors for a great time for worthy causes.

This year sA portion of the proceeds will be used to support the Haddam area Refugee Resettlement Project (HaRRP). HaRRP is a ministry started by The Higganum Congregational Church and The First Congregational Church of Haddam in partnership with Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS) of New Haven and local faith organizations, including St Stephen’s, to welcome and support a refugee family. The need is great. There are over 35 million refugees in the world today. This is a 25% increase in just a few months.  IRIS has already resettled almost twice as many people this year as they usually resettle in one year.
